A record six couples attended the Portsmouth Diocese Mass for Special Anniversaries in July. The couples gathered together after a Mass celebrated by Bishop Philip Egan, and an enjoyable buffet lunch, for a ’team photo’. They were joined by two couples from Basingstoke and Winchester so Catenians were very much represented! Southampton Circle’s presence at the event should have been even bigger as there are another two couples celebrating significant anniversaries this year but they were unable to attend.
